52 CCT June Sketch Challenge

Sometimes my inspiration for a card comes from a die or an image and sometimes it comes from a sketch.  If you are in a slump and can't figure out what to do...come join us at 52CCT for this weeks sketch challenge and get your ideas flowing.

Today's card is using scrap cardstock and paper I had in my Christmas scrap pile.  No stamping today...all dies.  The red cardstock was embossed with Stamping Up Sizzix folder.  The Impression Obsession small Poinsettia's were cut from heavy vellum.  After cutting the flowers I used a Calligraphy DecoColor Opaque White Paint Marker to make dots on the flowers.   The leaves was a die from Darice Small Holly Leaf.  Merry Christmas was cut from a Tim Holtz's set called Merry Christmas.
Everything was placed based on this sketch.

Come on over and join us!

Your card looks awesome, Netta! You've managed really well with the rectangles! - I turned the sketch back and forth and couldn't convince myself to use them! Love the vellum Poinsettia's!!

Netta: Hello, team-mate! Magnificent interpretation of the sketch! Embossing the red cardstock was a great idea...makes it looked like flocked velvet fabric! The poinsettias and holly are beauties and especially against the vivid red cardstock! Well done!
